Curving, country roads paved the way to the stop-you-in-your-tracks gorgeous Dover Hall Estate where Mike and Courtney’s engagement session took place. Dover Hall was originally designed as a home, before being converted into a wedding venue. Nestled between huge rolling fields and fall trees, each corner of the estate holds extraordinary beauty: ivy covered walls, arched doorways, and a beautiful reflection pond. And, inside? Spiraling staircases, “larger than life” fireplaces, a breathtaking ballroom, and elegance everywhere you turn. Needless to say, Dover Hall provided the perfect backdrop for Mike and Courtney’s shoot.
I loved getting to know these two. They were willing to try so many poses and weren’t afraid to try different things to get a shot, including climbing garden walls. They even brought their pup, Lego, who-by the way-is one of the best-looking dogs I’ve ever seen! The couple, the colors, and the location made for one beautiful shoot…if I do say so myself 🙂 Hope you enjoy and get excited for their wedding!!
Check out Courtney’s bracelet. Her friend had it made for her. It’s a phrase that Mike says often to Courtney “love you most.” It was even made in his personal handwriting! So cool.
