+Doug and Allison have the best love story. Allison explained it to me like this, “We’ve actually known each other our WHOLE lives, but never knew it. Crazy, right? Who knew? Well, our families did! We went to the same church all throughout our childhood, and never realized it. We actually met face-to-face two years ago, when I was asked to fill in for a member of the worship team at the church he and his family were attending at the time…He played guitar and sang there. It was definitely love at first sight, I’m telling you. We immediately synced with the songs, our voices, and our hearts.”
I guess when you are meant to be with someone, you find your way to them. After spending the day with the new bride and groom, I can see how perfect they are for each other and I know they have a great future ahead of them.
Even though Hurricane Matthew brought rain for the entire wedding, we were able to capture beautiful images. I loved the dark teal and light yellow details, traditional white church setting, and most of all, the sweetness of the couple. One of my favorite parts was the CD that Allison & Doug created for each wedding guest; I thought it was such a sweet touch!
Allison and Doug, thank you for choosing me to capture your special day. I wish you all the happiness in your future together.
Thank you to all of the amazing vendors who made this day possible!
